In response to the national
shortage of health care professionals, the federal government
as well as local governments and non-profits organizations
offer millions in grants and scholarships for those who wish
to become health care professionals or for existing health
care professionals to increase their skills. It doesn’t
matter how old you are or what your background is. There
is very likely a place for you in the health care field.
This is one profession where you do not have
to worry about someone sending your job overseas. Your job
in health care
is safe as long as patients don’t start flying overseas
for care.
The money programs below are categorized by
national programs and then a sample of local programs available
to residents
of Tennessee. Be sure to investigate similar programs in
your local area.
