Starbucks is not sitting back waiting for something to help those in need start or expand their businesses. They have teamed up with Opportunity Finance Network to help low-income and low-wealth entrepreneurs create new jobs and improve their communities. Create Jobs for U.S.A. Program is starting with $5 million in seed funds from the Starbucks Foundation and they are hoping to contribute a lot more with the help of their customers.

You Can Give Money At Starbucks To Help Create Jobs

You can donate at any Starbucks store. You can donate any amount, but if you donate $5 or more you get a red, white, and blue wristband that says Indivisible. If you want to donate online go to http://www.createjobsforusa.org/

You Can Get Money At Your Local Community Development Financial Institution To Start Or Expand A Business

All the money will be given to Community Development Financial Institutions whose job it is to provide financing to underserved community businesses, which include small business loans, community center financing, housing project financing and microfinance.
