Contest Winner: Iraqi War Widow (name
withheld at family’s request)
Needed Money: Buy a new home. Health care not covered by military
coverage. Retraining for a new career.
No one more deserves all the benefits this great country
has to offer than the families of those who gave the ultimate
sacrifice
for our county. The new winner of Lesko’s “Show
Me The Money Contest” is the widow and child of one
of the 539 military personnel who have died so far in the
Iraqi
war http://www.defenselink.mil/news/Feb2004/d20040206cas.pdf.
The name of the contest winner is being withheld at the family’s
request. These families have to struggle to put their lives
back together with a small pension, funds from a military
insurance policy (if they elected to pay for premiums) and
some other
money and services. This is compared to the victims of the
911 attack who received an average of $1.8 million each.
ALL IRAQI WAR WIDOWS will receive free
research by Lesko’s
Researchers!
Because of this contest winner, we are volunteering
our services to do free research for ALL Iraqi war widows.
This is in
addition to our FREE bi-monthly “Show Me The Money
Contest”.
If you know of any widows who deserve this free service,
have them contact me at lesko60@aol.com.
The military’s
newspaper, Stars and Stripes, recently wrote and article
on our efforts
to help. See it at www.howtogetagrant.com/starsstripes.
